Besonderheiten: Der Roseisle 14 Jahre ist Teil der Diageo Special Releases und wird in einer charakteristischen Tube präsentiert. Diese Abfüllung aus der 2010 eröffneten Roseisle Distillery in der Speyside-Region Schottlands zeichnet sich durch umweltfreundliche Produktionsmethoden aus. Der Whisky wird in natürlicher Fassstärke von 55,9 % vol. abgefüllt und es wird auf Kühlfiltration und Farbstoffe verzichtet.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: In der Nase entfalten sich sanfte, grüne und duftende Nuancen. Weicher Vanillebiskuit und karamellisierte Apfeltarte prägen das Aromenbild, während ein Tropfen Wasser eine Note von Rosenblättern und frischen Gräsern hinzufügt.
  • Gaumen: Die cremig-weiche Textur erinnert zunächst an buttrige Kuchen mit zarter Vanille, wandelt sich dann in eine lebendige, leicht säuerliche Frische und wird von subtilen pfeffrigen Würzen durchzogen. Ein Spritzer Wasser verstärkt die Sanftheit und hebt den kräuterartigen Charakter hervor.
  • Abgang: Der mittellange, klare und nussig-würzige Abgang wird von einer Prise weissem Pfeffer abgerundet. Mit Wasser bleibt er pfeffrig, präsentiert sich jedoch weicher und kontrollierter.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Roseisle Distillery gehört zur Diageo und produziert Whisky in umweltfreundlicher Weise. Für diese Abfüllung wurden Refill- und Rejuvenated-Fässer verwendet. Zudem wird auf Kühlfiltration und Farbstoffe verzichtet, was die authentischen Aromen des Whiskys bewahrt. Not the most inexpensive powered whisker bur I've used other Typhor products and found them reliable for the task designed. I fell they don't cheap out on the rechargeable battery so I don't fell they will catch fire, as we are hearing about from other cheaper rechargeable items. I liked 2 things about this model the speed control is by a pressure single switch which I can control, not just pick speed 1,2,3. The swappable tips allow for different uses. I don't drink coffee but use the item to whisk eggs for an omelets and it has the torque to mix them without effort. In Fact need to only use half power else it will splatter out of my mixing vessel.
