Besonderheiten: Diese limitierte Abfüllung von Best Dram vereint die Charakteristika der Blair Athol Brennerei mit den rauchigen Einflüssen eines ehemaligen Caol Ila Fasses. Nach 11 Jahren Reifung in einem 2nd fill ex-Caol Ila Hogshead präsentiert sich dieser Single Malt in natürlicher Fassstärke und ohne Zusatz von Farbstoffen. Die Auflage ist auf 318 Flaschen begrenzt.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Aromen von Haferflocken, begleitet von einer dezenten Rauchnote und karamellisiertem Apfel. Ein Hauch von Butterkuchen und Zitronenabrieb rundet das Bouquet ab.
  • Gaumen: Kräftiger Antritt mit cremigem, fast schlotzigem Mundgefühl. Der Torfrauch tritt deutlicher hervor als in der Nase und präsentiert sich vanillig-süß. Noten von Butterkuchen und leicht tanninige Eindrücke ergänzen das Geschmackserlebnis, während die Fruchtnoten aus der Nase in den Hintergrund treten.
