In Pulverform ist es wasserunlöslich. Erst mit Alkalien (z.B. Soda oder Kalkhydrat) aufgeschlossen, wird es wasserlöslich und kann als Bindemittel z.B. für Wandfarben verwendet werden.

Richtrezeptur für Kasein:
1. 500 g Kaseinpulver in 2 Liter kaltem Wasser klumpenfrei anrühren
2. 90 g Soda in ½ Liter heißem Wasser auflösen und gründlich mit der Kaseinschlämme verrühren.
3. Zwei Stunden stehen lassen, gut verrühren und mit ca. 20-25 Litern Wasser verdünnen.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Die angerührte Kaseinlösung muss am gleichen Tag verarbeitet werden. Schlecht oder faulig riechende Kaseinlösung unter keinen Umständen weiter verarbeiten: Gefahr langanhaltender Geruchprobleme auch nach Trocknung!

I'm putting up shelves around my bed for my books, and so far, the first shelf is holding nicely with these brackets. They seem pretty sturdy and were easy to install with the screws and anchors that came with it. I measured out where i wanted the brackets on the board and then screwed them to it. I then held it against the wall and used a level to make sure it was level, then put a screw in the middle bracket to hold it level while i marked the rest of the screw holes. I did this all by myself, but it would've been a lot easier to do with two people. I plan to buy more and put up more shelves

Does it's purpose with style
We used these in our pantry and dining room for shelves and they turned out well. The only reason they are hard to install is because of the design (which is very nice) so it is worth it. It just takes time when you you are hanging the shelves, to do it correctly. While they can hold a lot, we realized that a bunch of cans or jars cannot go on these shelves. Luckily we had another option for heavy items (Example: We had about 40ish pounds of cans/jars on a 1x12 board that is 33 inches long with 2 of these brackets...and it was too much). If you do not need to hold a lot of weight, these shelves are a for sure, for the price and quality. If you NEED they for something heavy, then you probably will have to go with something more practical from a hardware store. We LOVE them for our pantry!
