Mit dem VMA00201 kannst du den Fernsehton direkt am HDMI-ARC-Anschluss deines Fernsehers abgreifen – zum Beispiel von TV-Sendern über Kabel oder Satellit sowie von integrierten Apps wie Netflix, Prime Video oder Mediatheken. Das Audiosignal wird im Adapter in ein analoges Stereo-Signal umgewandelt und über den 3,5-mm-Klinkenausgang ausgegeben.

Der Adapter wird einfach zwischen den HDMI-ARC- oder HDMI-eARC-Anschluss deines Fernsehers und den HDMI-ARC/eARC-Anschluss deiner Soundbar geschaltet. Für die Stromversorgung verbindest du den VMA00201 über das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel mit einer freien USB-Buchse, zum Beispiel direkt am Fernseher. Dadurch schaltet sich der Adapter automatisch zusammen mit dem Fernseher ein – eine separate Bedienung ist nicht erforderlich. 

Die Lautstärkeregelung erfolgt komfortabel über HDMI-CEC, je nach Hersteller auch bekannt als Anynet+, Simplink, VieraLink, EasyLink oder Bravia Link. Bitte beachte: Fernseher besitzen in der Regel nur einen einzigen HDMI-ARC-Anschluss. Außerdem werden die internen TV-Lautsprecher normalerweise automatisch abgeschaltet, sobald HDMI-ARC verwendet wird. 

Der VMA00201 verfügt über einen integrierten Decoder für Mehrkanalton. Er mischt Dolby-Digital-Mehrkanalton automatisch auf Stereo herunter und gibt dieses Signal über den Klinkenanschluss aus. Gleichzeitig wird der Mehrkanalton per HDMI an die Soundbar weitergeleitet. So kannst du 5.1-Ton über die Soundbar genießen und parallel Stereo-Ton über einen Kopfhöreranschluss, Hörverstärker oder Audio-Sender ausgeben. 

Die TV-Fernbedienung steuert die Lautstärke je nach angeschlossenen Geräten automatisch: Ist nur die Soundbar angeschlossen, regelst du die Lautstärke der Soundbar. Ist nur ein Kopfhörer, Stereo-Verstärker oder Audio-Sender angeschlossen, regelst du dessen Lautstärke. Sind Soundbar und Kopfhöreranschluss gleichzeitig aktiv, steuert die TV-Fernbedienung die Lautstärke der Soundbar; der Klinkenausgang bleibt dabei auf maximalem Ausgangspegel. Die zuletzt eingestellte Lautstärke wird gespeichert und beim nächsten Einschalten wieder verwendet. 

Hinweis zum analogen Ausgang: Der 3,5-mm-Klinkenausgang liefert einen normgerechten Line Out Audiopegel. Damit eignet er sich ideal für Hörverstärker, Hörgerätesender oder Audio-Transmitter für Bluetooth-, Funk- oder Infrarot-Kopfhörer. Der Pegel entspricht dem Ausgangspegel vergleichbarer Audiogeräte. Wenn du einen kabelgebundenen Kopfhörer direkt anschließen möchtest, kann die Lautstärke ohne zusätzlichen Verstärker insbesondere für schwerhörige Personen zu gering sein. 

Mit allen uns bekannten Hörgerätesendern bzw. "TV Streamer" ist ein Betrieb möglich. Falls der vorhandene Sender nur einen Toslink- bzw. optischen Anschluss hat, so ist dieser aufgesteckt und darunter der nötige AUX / Klinkenanschluss.

Der Adapter leitet kein Videosignal zum TV durch, daher nur für für Soundbars geeignet und nicht für AV Receiver.

Excellent monitor, return of first defective one was a breeze.
The first monitor that I received displayed tearing, flickering, and artifacts at 144hz refresh, using an RTX5080 Nvidia graphics card when playing Il2-Sturmovik at highest graphic settings. I thought I would give Crua another chance and requested a replacement. Amazon sent me a new monitor immediately which arrived 2 days later. I simply swapped out the screen and returned the defective monitor in the box the replacement was sent in. It was painless. I have had the new monitor for a couple of weeks and it has been flawless. Great color, sharp image, no dead pixels, stable at 160hz refresh. I cant vouch for its longevity yet, but I will give an update after 6 months or so. Otherwise, this is the best monitor for the money that I have found in its class, and has made an impressive improvement to my setup.

Surprising quality, great for work

I know this is advertised as a gaming monitor, but I decided to get a large, wide monitor for long work hours to replace my two 27 inch monitors. It has just enough width that you can easily split the screen and work side-by-side. It is genuinely helped my neck pain since my posture is staying straight. There is no lag in the monitor and it has a pretty good design. Nice and thin, sleek. The amount on the back of it was a little strange, but I figured it out. The only thing I don’t like about this monitor is you cannot adjust the height up and down and it does not tilt but for the price I can live with that. It does give you the option to mount on a wall, which is nice. This might be a me problem, but it didn’t want to register with my thunderbolt docking station. I ended up needing to plug it directly into the laptop, which is an ideal. Haven’t figured out if that’s the monitor operation or if I need to connect it in a different way. Overall, this is a great value for the money.

2/12/26 Shipping was beyond poor. Amazon packaged this in a oversized box with no padding. Monitor box inside was damaged, but product seems ok. I was initially going to return and left a scathing feedback review for amazon delivery being beyond poor, when I requested a call there service kept hanging up on me. Shame on you Amazon, unfortunately I am removing one star for that. Now onto the real review... Monitor is sharp with no dead pixels, however the protective film is weird. So weird I thought I had received a used product, when I went to peel the film the sticker ripped and I had to carefully inspect to discover there was actually film and not someone pulling one over on amazon on a return. One star removed for that horrible film experience, it was very jarring. There is no height adjustment only tilt, which is fine nothing unexpected there. Stand is actually quality and is a Metal Injection Molding (MIM) material which is impressive for the price, not weighted plastic like some of the higher end brands. I like that there is no horrible blue light signaling the monitor is on, but that can be a turn off for some as the black levels of monitor can confuse someone into thinking it is not working. However if you are a photographer or a gamer this is a huge plus. Kudus to CRUA for doing that. I will update review upon testing to see if product needs less stars or if amazon wants to chime in on their part in this experience to add stars back. CRUA get on amazon so you can be a solid 4 stars! At this point I would recommend, but beware the film.

If they could just solve their quality control issues then this might be one of the best monitors I have purchased for the price it is offered at. Major monitor brands should be absolutely ashamed that this comes within striking quality of monitors are 3-6x its price. My only advice to anyone else looking to buy this is to get an extended warranty for it because CRUA does have serious quality control issues and weak components. But the actual panel, colors, etc are way above the asking price. I am absolutely floored.

This monitor is spectacular for the price. I am very pleased with it.

It arrived in tact and has zero blemishes or dead pixels. That's saying something when you have this many pixels too. The Freesync works great, it's fairly bright and the colors are amazing. They need to be detuned quite a lot since the gamut is way higher than most content is created for. Gaming is fantastic. I do not seem to have the advertised 1080P high FPS mode though. Perhaps they crossed up some of the promotional information for a different model. Still, I am very much enjoying 160Hz at 4k. I am playing through games again just to see them so clearly, and that's going from a 2k monitor of the same size. This display is superior. I wish the power button that's modeled to look like a joystick actually was one, don't be caught off guard by that. It's just a button. I knew that when I bought it but still. Kinda... iffy to make it look like one. I mounted the monitor on an arm. It weighs very little so it was easy. I never used the included stand, but it's very sturdy and I love that is flips vertically too. The headphone jack works nicely for my powered speakers and it switches between display port and HDMI correctly. My last monitor had to be restarted each time I went back to Display Port to get audio back. This monitor at the price I paid is insanely good. I'd been waiting for years for a good 4K panel with high refresh rate at 27". By far my favorite monitor size. I have zero intention of changing or upgrading from this panel until μLED is finally available. If this panel dies, I will get another until then.
