Diese stolze und anmutige Katze passt gut zu einer Szene aus dem alten Ägypten. Vielleicht als Helferin der Göttin Bastet, Heilerin, Beschützerin und wilde Jägerin. Katzen werden aber auch in anderen Kulturen verehrt, es gibt sie auch im keltischen Tierkreiszeichen. Zu ihren Merkmalen zählen Sinnlichkeit, ihre Eigenständigkeit und ihr Bedürfnis nach Zärtlichkeiten.

Die Skulptur ist 61 cm hoch und wiegt ca. 15 kg. 

Die Fotos zeigen die Große Katze auch in einer ehemaligen Sonderedition in Rokokoblau, die Farbe ist jedoch wie auf dem zweiten Bild ein Marmorton. 

Da alle Produkte von uns persönlich in unserer Gießerei in Ostfriesland von Hand hergestellt werden, gleicht keine Skulptur farblich genau der anderen. Jedes Stück ist ein Unikat.

Aus frostfreiem Gussstein gefertigt kann die große Katze wie alle unsere Objekte das ganze Jahr draußen bleiben.
